Girl Scout Table

Outside a grocery store, a man walked up to a woman wearing a green vest who was standing behind a table filled with cookies. Both the woman and the man appear to be in their mid-twenties.

“Millie, what are you doing?” the man said. “Selling Girl Scout cookies?”

“Of course not, Bill. I’m just watching the table.”

“How did that happen?”

“The Girl Scout saw me walk by and asked if I’d watch the table for her?”

“Where did you get the vest?

“She gave me hers.”

“You’re too nice.”

“No, I was a Girl Scout, and the code is that you have to be a sister to every Girl Scout.”

“Where did she tell you to send the money?”

“She said she’s going to be back after she goes to a movie. You want a box of thin mints?”
