The Halloween Witch Fit

Witches love Halloween because they can dress like themselves. They get to show their true colors, even if they are green. They get to have pointy noises, wear all black and fly around on a broomstick.

Witches have a lot of fun on Halloween. They gather in public places, perform spells, and cackle.

At a witch’s party, they levitate off the floor, turn each other into newts and drink toadstool martinis.

The best part about a witch’s party on Halloween is that everyone kind of dresses the same. It’s the theme and the lifestyle.

That’s why Morgana confused everyone when she arrived at a witch’s party dressed like a minion. Her yellow hat with an eye on top stood out against the pointy black hats. Her blue jean overalls clashed with her tinted green skin. Her smile looked neither crooked nor wicked.

All of the witches gave Morgana a wide berth. Those who did not know her wondered if a human had wandered into the party.

Verona finally confronted Morgana.

“Why are you dressed like that?” Verona asked.

“Every Halloween I have to dress like a witch,” Morgana said. “I wanted to shake it up this year.”

“But you dress like someone else all the other days of the year.”

“Yes, and that person isn’t fun to dress up as either,” Morgana said. “Now pass me a broom. Have you ever seen a minion fly?”
