After receiving 12 texts, Tom reluctantly left his house to visit his neighbor Weston. Weston stood outside his house, dressed like a Top Gun pilot. Weston took off his sunglasses and smiled at Tom.
“Is it Halloween already?” Tom asked
“No, look at the house,” Weston said excitedly. Tom looked and was surprised to see four blades slowly spinning off the top of the roof.
“Did you get wind power for your house?” Tom asked.
“No, they’re helicopter blades!” Weston shook with excitement. Tom stared at his neighbor, so Weston continued. “Helicopter propellers are going to be the new look. They’ll make houses look like helicopters. At any moment your house could take off!”
“Oh, that’s cool,” Tom said. Tom did not think it was cool, but whatever made Weston happy.
“Do you want me to add a propeller to your house?” Weston asked.
“Wait, are you selling them?” Tom asked.
“It’s my new business!”
“I’m good,” Tom said. “My wife doesn’t really like helicopters.”
Tom started when Mrs. Weston yelled from the front door. “He doesn’t like it, does he, honey?”
“Oh, he’s just not a visionary,” Weston said. “We’ll call Stu next. He’ll get it!”
“Good luck, Weston,” Tom said, and he walked away, very happy not to be a visionary.
