Everyone thought that Gregory was very considerate. No one noticed that Simon was considerate.
Gregory loudly boasted about giving up his seat on the bus. Simon missed the bus entirely, making sure that a biker who fell in front of it was okay and didn’t get run over.
Going into a restaurant, Gregory said it was his pleasure to hold the door for the four who walked in after him. Simon quickly fixed the broken door, so it closed tightly to keep heating bills down and everyone warm. The party sat without him, and he wandered the restaurant looking for them.
Gregory loudly claimed he was paying for everyone’s meal. Simon paid for the meal to save his friend Gregory, who forgot his wallet, from embarrassment.
Gregory invited everyone to his fundraiser for an aging tree. Simon organized the fundraiser, booked a venue, put out chairs and found a band to play.
Gregory claimed he would do everything possible to save the tree when they wanted to chop it down and replace it with a bike rack. Simon slept in the tree for two days. People assumed it was Gregory sleeping in the tree, so he got credit for saving it. Simon’s bike was stolen because there was no bike rack in the area.
Gregory bought everyone at the party a drink! Simon baked cupcakes because it was a children’s birthday party. Gregory drank all of the drinks he bought for everyone himself. Simon politely coaxed Gregory out of the party before he caused a scene with the pinata. Simon didn’t even get a cupcake.
Gregory yelled to everyone on the street that Simon was lucky to have a friend like Gregory. Simon made sure Gregory got home in one piece.
